Apple picking

So as we need some money to go on on the trip to south we decided to go for fruit picking near Napier. Boring jobs but a good way to make loads of money in a short time: Fabien the Apple Whisperer.

Cape Kidnappers

Another nice place to visit near Napier. For the story, the name of this cape come from captain Cook, whose translator had been kidnapped by Maoris when he landed there. To get it back, Cook and his men shooted some maoris for the example, colonial style......

Te Mata Peak

A lil' moutain chain 10 minutes from Napier. Only 400m high, but awesome view once you reached the top.

Napier

I wouldn't normally post pics about my backpackers but this one is definetaly special: it's a former luxury hostel The living room, if you please View from the balcony, and yes, this is the ocean at the end of the street. The beach walk First time i see...
